Here’s an interesting concept:
Buy 4 tickets to this year’s NCAA 1st and 2nd Rounds, March 18 & 20, 2010
New Orleans Arena…and 4 tickets to the NCAA Regional, March 24 & 26, 2011
New Orleans Arena…
…and GUARANTEE your opportunity to purchase
2 TICKETS TO THE 2012 FINAL FOUR March 31 & April 2, 2012
Louisiana Superdome.
Does this seem like a good deal to you? Tickets for the 2010 event are $198 each for the first and second rounds and $168 each for next year’s Regional Rounds. So you have to spend roughly $1500 to get a guaranteed purchase of 2 Final Four tickets. You won’t see any income back from the 2011 tickets until next year. (Although you could list them on StubHub at any time). Final Four tickets are very lucrative. The lottery for next year’s Final Four has not started yet.
If I had the money to gamble it would look like a pretty good deal to guarantee yourself some Final Four tickets. Hopefully the First, Second and Regional rounds would have some good teams to get you a nice return on your initial investment.

A couple of Presales for Paul McCartney start tomorrow with public sales being next week.
The show at the Hollywood Bowl should be especially promising since he hasn’t played there since 1993.

Jimmy Buffett tickets go on sale Saturday Feb 20 for many venues, and Monday Feb 22 for Alpine Valley and others.
Some locations I have had great success with in the past are Noblesville IN, Cincinnati OH, and East Troy WI (Alpine Valley). I had in the past invested large sums of money in lawn seats (general admission), but I find the margins on these keep dropping every year. Even the show in Alpine Valley @ East Troy didn’t make me a lot last year on lawn seats as I had in the past.
Check out Ticketmaster HERE for all the tour dates and on sale times.
Be sure to check eBay’s listings and StubHub as well.
Good Luck,
Rod

Cubs tickets for individual games go on sale this morning at 10am CT. There will be the VWR (virtual waiting room) as usual so use the multiple window technique as described in my ebook to get a better chance at tickets before they sell out.
Some games worth looking at are Opening Day, the White Sox series and the different Cardinals games. I tend to buy a lot of bleacher seats as they are less expensive and usually sell out quick.
Here is the link to select the games: Cubs On Sale Link
