Here’s an interesting concept:
Buy 4 tickets to this year’s NCAA 1st and 2nd Rounds, March 18 & 20, 2010
New Orleans Arena…and 4 tickets to the NCAA Regional, March 24 & 26, 2011
New Orleans Arena…

…and GUARANTEE your opportunity to purchase
2 TICKETS TO THE 2012 FINAL FOUR March 31 & April 2, 2012
Louisiana Superdome.

Does this seem like a good deal to you? Tickets for the 2010 event are $198 each for the first and second rounds and $168 each for next year’s Regional Rounds. So you have to spend roughly $1500 to get a guaranteed purchase of 2 Final Four tickets. You won’t see any income back from the 2011 tickets until next year. (Although you could list them on StubHub at any time). Final Four tickets are very lucrative. The lottery for next year’s Final Four has not started yet.

If I had the money to gamble it would look like a pretty good deal to guarantee yourself some Final Four tickets. Hopefully the First, Second and Regional rounds would have some good teams to get you a nice return on your initial investment.
